Amy from Massage on the Hill is starting a new Baby Senses class on Fridays at the Community Centre. New sensory class for babies aged 0-15 months.
The ability to see, smell, touch and hear are amongst your baby’s most important tools. Come and join us to discover their exciting world of senses.

August’s Big ‘Un Saturday music night has been moved to Sat 20 August (from 13 August) due to holiday!
DJ Barry the Bull will be back with Rock and Roll plus food and a music quiz. Come on down from 8pm.
The Community Centre’s kitchen has now been repainted and features a new cooker, tiling and ice machine!

ers who worked incredibly hard on the weekend of 2-3 July to repaint, plaster and generally spruce up the place. You might notice the newly painted entrance and the cleared-out garden. Particular thanks to Martin who worked late on Saturday to get some plastering finished.
Our resident jazz group the Mark Randall Six are now off on their hols and will be back with us in September, third Sunday of every month at 8:30pm. Nice.
The Community Centre is a pick-up point for lovely organic fruit and veg boxes from Leigh Court Farm. You can order boxes online at leighcourtfarm.org.uk and pick them up from the Community Centre on Thursdays between 16:30 and 18:30. Leigh Court Farm grow produce on nearly 30 acres of land just outside Bristol – see their website for more details.

The Big ‘Uns – Saturday night music with DJ Barry the Bull. Second Saturday of each month. 8pm ’till late. Each night featuring music quiz and food.
Mess Around’s messy play session has been moved to Sunday 17 April (was previously 3rd April). Multi-sensory tactile play experiences for children aged 6 months (or sitting unaided) to 5 years old.

New course starting 18 April – runs weekly on Mondays at 11.30am-12.30pm.
Over four weekly sessions you will learn all the skills to confidently massage your baby from head to toe.
The course costs £30 and includes all materials, including; massage oil to use at home, as well as detailed handouts so you can continue massaging your baby after the course.
Baby massage can: Ease symptoms of colic, constipation and trapped wind. Promotes better sleep. Helps both parent and baby to feel calmer, loved and relaxed. Feel more confident handling your baby and teaches baby about positive touch. learn a set of skills and techniques to soothe your baby.
