Hi, My name is Christine, I have been a member of the community centre for around 30 years, and have lived on Windmill hill for almost 40 years. I love living in this area and being part of such a close community. I am currently a member of the committee and enjoy helping to arrange events. I used the community centre on a weekly basis to catch up with family and friends. I am retired but i help out in a local Nursing home which i find very rewarding.

Hi My name is Tony, I am currently vice chairperson, i enjoy this role and thrive to improve things for our members and the public that use the building. I work as a Graphics installation manager locally on a full time basis which i find enjoyable. I have been a member here for over 20 years and my children have all grown up enjoying the activities provided. I now use the WHCA on a regular basis and am currently captain of the skittle team, which are doing really well at the moment. We have discussed many plans recently which i hope will come together making 2014 a good one!
Hi My name is Fay, i am currently the WHCA secretary as well as being a committee member. I work full time as an operating department practitioner which i thoroughly enjoy! I have been a member of the community centre since i was a child and have seen many changes. I now use the community centre with my whole family on a weekly basis. I am a member of the skittle team which is a great night, we have so much fun. I help arrange many of the activities that happen, and have some good ideas for 2014!
‘I have lived on the Hill since 1979 but didn’t get involved with the Community Centre until 1988, when Hill Views, the local Community newspaper was assembled and distributed there. After several years when I was busy doing other things I joined the committee again as Secretary and am now the Chairperson. We want to see some special events this year to mark the 40th Anniversary of Windmill Hill Community Association, to acknowledge some of the past achievements and get even more people of all ages involved in the plans for the future.’
