We’re excited to announce that Community Centre volunteer and former chairwoman (2006-2012) Christine Higgott has been awarded a British Citizen Award for her community work in the local area.
The award will be presented at the Palace of Westminster on 26 January 2017.
The Community Centre management committee nominated Christine for the award as a small way of saying thank you for twenty years of local community work, including work with Art on the Hill, the Victoria Park Action Group and with the Community Centre itself.
